Perhaps it comes with the job description but the inquisitiveness has become second nature.

The initial thought is to question the purpose, its motive and then the effect. Remember the 6 important questions. Ask:

1. Who


2. What


3. Where


4. When


5. Why


6. How

Sometimes, the most obvious answer is not the best or most correct. Always consider the involvement of manipulating factors. Neglecting them may derive a flawed conclusion. Don't forget that there are always consequences - the effect is sequential.

Most importantly, never underestimate the intellect of the mould.

It's always better to be one step ahead.
