"Coach Carter"

Rented the DVD and watched "Coach Carter" in the weekend which is based on a true story that hit headlines in California during the time. Decided to watch the movie after watching an interview a couple weeks back on the "Dr. Phil" show between Dr. Phil, Samuel L. Jackson (leading actor in "Coach Carter") and the real Coach Carter, Ken Carter. For more information regarding the movie, visit: http://www.coachcartermovie.com. For more information regarding Ken Carter who is now a motivational speaker, visit: http://www.coachcarter.com.

A quote from the movie:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness which frightens us. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
