Details & Ligers Final Kick of the Season

It may be Saturday morning... but i've been awake since 8:30am Friday and somehow (most likely due to an overdose of caffeine which I had plenty of), I'M NOT SLEEPY! It's really bugging me now. Argh! And yes, you read right... I woke up at 8:30 in the morning on Friday! Shock horror! Looking astonished? Haha! Why you ask? What on earth made me wake up so early?? The things I do for friends... *sHaKeS hEaD* Kidding.

Was Nik's driver and Mark's companion for Nik's MRI scan at St George's Hospital today. The good thing about private hospitals... everyone's so pleasant, standing on the road and giving directions... and if you're incapable of making the short walk from the carpark to whichever building you're suppose to be at, there's a vehicle (something like a golf cart or those you find in airports) that can transport you around - I have no idea what those things are called and really don't care at this time of night. We weren't fortunate enough to test it out cuz Nik isn't wrinkly enough or "cacat" enough to allow us to experience 1st class treatment. :þ~ Yes I know, cheap thrills.

Anyhow, what was meant to last half an hour ended up dragging out until 12 noon. We arrived at the place on time (yes, I was actually on time! Contrary to popular belief, I can be punctual when it's serious business! :þ~) but was told to come back in half an hour cuz they were running late. So seeing that it was 10am and McDonald's breakfast was still on... what else would I eat except McD breakie! WOAH MAMA! Haven't tasted that for sometime now. It's like... heaven! Had the usual Bacon and Egg Bagel combo... *LiCkS LiPs* Simply divine! Maybe if i'm still awake at 6am later, i'll go again. *TuMMy RuMbLiNg*!

So anyway, we met up with Hock, Cin and Cheong for lunch at Riccarton Noodle House where Cheong was unbelievably talkative today - a good thing I might add. Also found out that he's been eating there every weekday for the past 3 weeks! Think about the amount of MSG?! *fAiNt*! OMG... The hair!! Haha! But, he gets special treatment... 3 sotongs in his chicken bones which he claims to be a "bonanza"! *SaRCaStiC WoW* Haha! It was nice having lunch again though...

After lunch, sent Nik to Uni and then went to Riccarton Mall. Before even entering Riccarton Mall, went to Timezone. Honestly, I reckon that's just a kid's version of the Casino... sucking up all the poor little kids money cuz they're so desperate for entertainment! Spent ages in the Mall pretty much window shopping to the point where Mark would roll his eyes at us girls for the amount of clothes we'd try on and walk out of empty handed and Hock would be so used to filling out the forms to win a car competition. Ok, on reflection... I do feel kinda sorry for them now.

After the Mall, went to Tap Room to meet up with Tung and Jin for coffee. Absolutely beautiful day, wanted to enjoy the sun by sitting outside BUT... great minds think alike... everyone had the same idea and it was full. So, we had to resort to sitting indoors. Still good company though. Was suppose to pick Nik up from Uni (driver remember?) but he managed to get a ride home. So after coffee, headed home and been at home ever since cuz I was so dead tired that I just lay on my bed and watched series... until around midnight when the caffeine kicked in and I decided to change my sheets and look through my drawers. Probably the biggest mistake i've done and now I know why I haven't opened them in so long. BLEH!

Just when I was at my lowest, saved by the bell by none other than my Mama! Haha! Talked to her and didn't have to bare the full brunt of the side effects from before. Perfect timing. You guys ever heard of the song... "A Song For Mama"? Awesome song. Meaningful. Hmmm... I miss her~

I suppose you all haven't gotten such an insight into my life for sometime now huh, or maybe never? So much details, probably making up for the last post which have a couple of you totally boggled. I like that. :þ~ Almost 3am, still not sleepy. This post is becoming somewhat of a journal. Hmmm...

From last week...

Ligers Football Club had their final match last Sunday. Seeing as it was their final match, I made an effort to turn up after being M.I.A. for a couple of weeks. For those of you interested, the details of the game can be found on Ellen's blog. Briefly, they were down 3 - 0 when I turned up, then suddenly... they equalised... and ended up 8 - 4 up. I may be "perasan" (forgive me after i've slept) but I must be their lucky charm! Somehow everytime I turn up to their games, they win! Wahahaha! *PuKe*!

The committed Ligers Football Club team:

As always, more photos from the game will be posted up later, promise la. Aiyo! :P

During half-time...

(High pitched) Sam: "Sub sub sub!"

Andrew ecstatic after scoring 1st goal in 5 years and last goal of the season

Didn't attend the Ligers dinner held at Nando's later that night cuz we had volleyball training but Seng took photos and videos for me which i'll upload some other time. Looks like they had a great time...

Players and fans...

OK. 3:30am. Really tired now. Will revert to more of Gilmore Girls and updates from this week, including Tzin Wei's birthday dinner will be continued in my next post. *YaWn*! Nitez all! :)
