Puppet Show

Beautiful, ornamental beings designed by the finest. Handcrafted with absolute perfection. Each tailored for a particular purpose. Every one a character, clothed to flaunt their unique personality.

A vibrant stage provided for the figurines. Cautiously planned to allow flexibility. Colours well-considered for maximum effect. Size and shape suitable for its objective.

The strings seem nonexistent - thin enough to be invisible, durable enough to allow manipulation. An illusion perhaps.

All this, created to suit a storyline... an interpretation based on the perception of the author.

Our naive nature allows us to be fooled, easily captivated. Slowly we learn. Puppets are always controlled - their movements sharp and distinct, their life limited to accomplish its purpose. Such extensive preparation given to captivate the audience - to entice them to believe. Their innocence exploited, thoughts influenced by the illusions.

Ultimately, we're used, controlled and manipulated to empathise. At this time, the director has achieved their motive.
