The end of Feb...

So here we are, on the very last day of February. Time has definitely passed by in a flash. I've been in Malaysia for almost a month now. The heat is unbearable! To think that I considered Penang as one of my places to work... *fAiNt*! But I suppose I shouldn't wipe this option out completely. If I were to come back, it would be for personal reasons rather than job opportunities or lifestyle.

To throw in something random, I was offered a job... at OCBC. It is not an accounting job... but it's related. How was I offered this job? Cuz our personal banker is one of the managers who scrutinises applicants and thinks that i'd be right for the job. !!! She was trying so hard to persuade me to come back to Penang to work under her. OMG. Give it 2 years... she said... Hard work... Long hours... The basic pay isn't very attractive but it's what you can earn on top of that... Uh huh... Was that suppose to tempt me? Ermmm... No comment.

I'm still very lost. Still don't know whether I want to continue studying or enter the work force yet. Even if I do enter the work force, I don't know which part of the world I want to be in. Maybe i'll just stay in the comfort of my own home... Christchurch! That would be best. Hehe... The best option... cuz it's the easiest option I suppose.

On another random note, went to the supermarket today and got asked whether i'm eurasian. Seriously... !! Then again, I suppose I should take it as a compliment huh? Haha!! Maybe it's the hair... Oh the hair... There isn't really a photo to show the colour of my hair. It's not as light as when I first dyed it. Maybe it's cuz i've gotten so used to it already. For a first timer, I like it! Hehe... What do you think? Nice??

Haha... The photo was taken on the plane from Kuching to KL. Sat right at the front with no one next to me. MuaHaHaHaHa~!! That's how early I checked in... thanks to SOMEONE who also got a RM150.00 fine for parking illegally!! Haha...

Some of you have requested for photos... Yes yes... I remember... and some of you want to read about my travels... What travels? Hmmm... But it's rather late now. I'm going to have to leave it to another day. At least i've got the internet up and running now. Keke! You'll be seeing more updates from now on. Stay tuned... :)

Happy New Year!!

Hello everyone! Missed me? MuaHaHaHaHa~!! I'm currently writing from Sitiawan, Perak. Haven't had the time to write about my trip so far as my internet connection in Penang still has not been set up. Yeah, i've been in Malaysia for 2 1/2 weeks now and i've been deprived of the internet! *sNiFF*! Been so busy that I just haven't had the time to attend to it... and when I tried, was told from tmnet that the start-up pack has run out and won't be available until 26th Feb. *fAiNt*! As some would say... "zomg"!

Have quite a few photos to post up from my Kuching trip, as well as CNY and this Perak trip but will leave that until my connection in Penang has been fixed. I must say that this world is extremely small. Somehow, we're all connected. It's amazing.

Anyway, must keep this short. The objective of this post was just to wish everyone a very happy chinese new year! May you all be blessed with good health, abundant wealth and prosperity for the coming year!

... From Kuching...

Finally after over a week of having arrived in Malaysia, I have found an opportunity to sit down and type a few words here... No, not from Penang, but from Kuching. It's rather late, so I will have to keep this rather short - am using Sophia's laptop which i'm not really familiar with either.

My thoughts are all scattered all over the place. I have so much to type, yet i'm so tired. What I find fascinating is that after almost 10 years of hearing all the great and wonderful things about Kuching, I actually find myself here. A lot of you didn't believe that I was coming, but, surprise? Hehe...

I won't be uploading photos in this post simply because i'm lazy after spending the whole day shopping and then having dinner with the christchurch-kuching group followed by karaoke, but i'll definitely do it when I get back to Penang and hopefully get hooked up to the internet. Found that the stitching on my top had come undone smack bang in the middle where my tummy is... Yes, meaning that there was a hole... So paiseh. Thank goodness the boys didn't join us otherwise I would never hear the end of it. I mean, sure, i've put on weight... But am I that fat that I can split my top? OMG. That happened during our shopping outing.

Later on in the evening, after dinner, I realised that my shoe strap broke. It wouldn't have bothered me too much if I was wearing pants... But thanks to SOMEONE (namely Mark), us girls were all wearing skirts - meaning that it would be so obvious that something was wrong with my shoe. Argh. So frustrated! My feet couldn't have expanded that much that it could possibly break my shoe strap, right? Grrr... *fAiNt*! But I love Malaysian shopping hours, cuz that just meant that I could buy a shoe before heading for karaoke. Haha!! An excuse to buy a shoe... MuaHaHaHaHa~!!

OK. That's my boring story. Time for me to sleep. Will update more at a later date... ZzzZZzZZzz... Hope everyone's well... :)

Before I leave...

Hey everyone! Just thought i'd post a quick one before I head off to the airport. I've only had 2 hours of peaceful sleep and then 1 hour of trying to sleep while the vacuum cleaner was on (!!!). So yeah, i'm extremely tired.

Am I excited to leave? Not really. It feels unreal. I'm not sure why. Quite half-hearted about going back. On one hand, it's good to get away and have a holiday... I need a break from routine and the usual surroundings. On the other hand, i'm going to miss everyone too. Awww... Haha!! Definitely not looking forward to the mosquito bites but I guess they need a feed every now and then. *fAiNt*! I'm expecting the usual, 100 bites on the first day. Food poisoning would be good, so that I can lose the weight that i've put on over the last month but unlikely. Blah blah blah.

Anyway, to those who turned up last night (or rather early this morning)... thank you. To those that couldn't make it because we ended up going out so late (had last minute packing to do)... sorry!!

Before I end this post, have something to share with all of you - hopefully Cheong doesn't kill me. Actually, i'm not that scared, cuz by the time he sees it, I would have flown off. MuaHaHaHaHa~!! The video is not of the highest quality but I couldn't resist from uploading it onto the net. Beware of what you say, because it might just be caught on camera! :þ~ Keke... I'll apologise to Cheong in advance first. HAHAHA!!
